Cluster InformationClusters-Our Mid-sized Missional Communities: "A house-full of friends on a mission!"If you want to make a positive difference in the world and do it with a group of friends, then Clusters are for you! Clusters are groups of 20-50 people who gather regularly in homes to do life together and carry out a common purpose beyond themselves. They have fun, share meals, pray, have fun, read the Bible, have fun, welcome new people, serve those in need, and-you guessed it-have fun! You are invited to come and try out any Cluster until you find one that fits you. Just call the leader listed and find out how to be part of their next activity. Miracles in MotionWe are a group of families and individuals who want to serve our community through service projects for needy families, the homeless, the elderly shut-ins, and local food banks. Our first project will be to de-clutter our Christmas ornaments and provide decorations and trees to families in need. Our address is 4931 Merrill St., Torrance, just off Anza past Carson. We are inspired by Pastor Steve Sjogren's concept of Servant Evangelism (see the website at servantevangelism.com), and we seek to show the world Christian love through unexpected acts of kindness. Our first project will be to enjoy a meal and some fellowship with each other and take the opportunity to give love and praise to the staff of a local restaurant. We work together to restore harmony in our lives and our environment through encouragement, education and engagement with our neighbors. We live "in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God." (Romans 8:21). We will spread this hopeful message of God's Covenant with Creation by participating in local environmental events and by providing education on living in better harmony with God's creation.
