Good Shepherd Preschool has been a part of this community for over 30 years! We are a developmental preschool dedicated to nurturing each child's unique qualities, strengths, and interests. Our purpose is to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences which will enable your child to grow physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually! Children attend Chapel weekly. We have two-, three-, or five-day programs. Children must be 2 1/2 to 5-years-old and potty-trained. Contact our director, Lisa Such for more information.

The Daily Schedule includes:

Opening activities - Children's choice of a variety of activities from an art activity to manipulative, games, puzzles, pre-writing pre-reading and pre-math activities .

Snack - A Variety of Fruit/Vegetables, crackers, cookies, special treats for birthdays and celebrations! 100% Apple Juice

Outside Play - Children are encouraged to play together by using their words to communicate their needs with each other and with teachers. We focus on children gaining confidence in themselves by exploring their world and encourage them to think of ways to problem solve with each other throughout their day.

Inside Activities - Include (But not limited to) Story time, sharing, group activities, free play, developmentally appropriate academic learning activities, cooking, creative movement, sensory experiences in science, arts and crafts.

Chapel - Once a week the children go to Chapel which is held in the main sanctuary. The children learn a message of Christ's love for them through a Bible Story and sing songs together. The teachers are our very own Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd Staff Members including Senior Pastor Bob Rognlien, Teaching Pastor Greg Wallace, Youth Ministries leader Cindi Wallace, Children's Ministries Leader Ellen Paulson, Music Director Mark Emerson, Preschool Director Lisa Such, and Preschool teachers Dana Mitchell and Cheryl Cohn.

We will continue to offer our regular hours

of 9:00-11:45am for traditional preschool.

2 days-$170.00/mo.

3 days-$255.00/mo.

5 days-$425.00/mo.

The Lunch Bunch is now available for your extended care needs.

*Hours are 9:00am-1:00pm for morning classes*

(Fees reflect traditional hour fees plus $10.00/day

for the additional 1 hour 15 minutes.)

Sorry, as is with traditional preschool, there are no make-ups.
